Project Description
Tourism has been steadily on the rise in Oman, and in Salalah specifically where there are multiple seasons representing high volumes of potential tourists. This is one of very few, large tract of land available for recreational and tourism development on Salalah’s coastline. Our client is launching a premier brand of Sharia compliant hotels and the first resort will include a hotel and conference center, garden suites and private oceanfront villas, an open-air souq and waterfront dining. The site will cover 40 Acres of pristine costal land and cost 60 million to develop.
Newwork was hired to do the initial Concept Plan, Feasibility Study and the full Master Plan (complete with elevations, units, renderings, etc) for the Five Star sharia-compliant resort and public recreation area. This was submitted in a public bid process to the Ministry of Tourism in Muscat Oman. The partners will operate the resort and the investors and will manage the development of the whole project. Newwork delivered a project booklet, presentation boards, 3D model, and digital renderings.
